<p>Multi-regional input-output table is an important tool for studying inter-regional trade connections and their corresponding environmental impacts. Regarding the outdated updates, large time gaps for current China’s tables, this study integrates official macroeconomic statistics combine with systematic calibration methods to construct sequential tables for China from 2000 to 2020. This study uses macroeconomic data as constraint and innovatively calibrates residential consumption structure dynamically, which ensures temporal consistency of the macroeconomic data structure while significantly improving the accuracy and authenticity of the final demand. The average structural deviations of sectoral total output are less than 0.07, and the average deviations of residential consumption structure are more than 10 percentage points smaller than the deviation of the currently published table, which indicates that the sequential tables retain the real data structure well while maintaining consistency with benchmark tables. The complete dataset and compilation code are publicly available to promote the compilation and application of high-frequency tables, thereby support research on regional economic connections, demand-side environmental footprints, and long term policy simulation.</p>
