<p><i>Lutjanus fulviflamma</i> is a commercially significant offshore warm-water fish species predominantly inhabiting shallow marine environments. Previous studies have primarily concentrated on the development of genetic markers and evolutionary relationships. In this study, a chromosome-level reference genome was constructed through the integration of three sequencing techniques: Illumina de novo, Hi-C, and PacBio. The final assembly spanned 1,062.19 Mb, with a contig N50 of 44.69 Mb and a BUSCO completeness score of 98.9%. The assembly contained 29,130 protein-coding genes, of which 88.85% were functionally annotated. This high-quality genome assembly serves as a foundational resource for future research in functional genomics, conservation genetics, and interspecific hybridization studies of <i>L. fulviflamma</i>.</p>
