摘要

Nicotiana tabacum is one of the most important globally economic crops and also a model plant for studying secondary metabolism. N. tabacum is further classified into different types such as flue-cured, cigar, and sun-cured and so on, which produces distinct secondary profiles. However, the gene expression differences among types remains gaps. Here, we generated a large-scale transcriptomic profiling across tissues (root, stem, leaf and flower), developmental stages (rosette, vigorous growth, topping and harvest stage) and types (flue-cured and cigar type) of N. tabacum, resulting in a total of 72 high-quality datasets from 24 samples (three replicates per sample). The dataset by this study provides a valuable resource for researchers engaged in studying on plant secondary products.
