<p>Flavonoids are major bioactive constituents of <i>Lycium</i> L. with diverse pharmacological activities. This review summarizes recent advances in the extraction, characterization, and biological functions of <i>Lycium</i> flavonoids (LyFs). Evidence indicates that LyFs exert antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulatory effects via pathways such as NF-κB and Keap1–Nrf2/ARE. Notably, LyFs act as functional prebiotics by modulating gut microbiota and short-chain fatty acid production, supporting intestinal and metabolic health.</p>
