<p>Blue-and-white porcelain is often discussed through “form–decoration” unity, yet archive-first studies rarely report auditable 3D descriptors from single-view photographs. We present a Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) workflow that outputs traceable paradata, exclusion codes, and projection-derived proxy geometry, bounded by L1–L3 verification and a pre-specified projection-consistency quality gate (IoU &gt; 0.85). Using a box-counting definition, we treat FD as one interpretable indexing feature within a broader auditable workflow, computing decoration-mask complexity (FD<sub>2D</sub>) and projection-derived form-complexity proxies <InlineEquation ID="IEq1"><EquationSource Format="TEX">\(\left({{FD}}_{3D}^{{est}}\right)\)</EquationSource><EquationSource Format="MATHML"><math><mfenced><msubsup><mi>FD</mi><mrow><mn>3</mn><mi mathvariant="normal">D</mi></mrow><mi>est</mi></msubsup></mfenced></math></EquationSource></InlineEquation>, rather than as a uniquely explanatory descriptor or measure of authenticity, esthetic value, or physical reconstruction accuracy. For an algorithmically processable subset of 81 Qing Imperial Kiln specimens, FD<sub>2D</sub> and <InlineEquation ID="IEq2"><EquationSource Format="TEX">\({\mathrm{FD}}_{3{\rm{D}}}^{\mathrm{est}}\)</EquationSource><EquationSource Format="MATHML"><math><msubsup><mi>FD</mi><mrow><mn>3</mn><mi mathvariant="normal">D</mi></mrow><mi>est</mi></msubsup></math></EquationSource></InlineEquation> show a moderate association (Spearman’s <i>ρ</i> = 0.558 (95% CI: 0.402–0.684), <i>p</i> &lt; 0.001), which becomes non-significant controlling for vessel category (partial <i>ρ</i><sub>p</sub> = 0.12, <i>p</i> = 0.28). Dynasty differences are evaluated via Kruskal–Wallis H and Mann-Whitney U tests. The workflow provides exploratory indexing evidence for digitized archives.</p>
