<p><i>Kleinia anteuphorbium</i>, a species strictly endemic to Morocco, is commonly known nationally as Shbarto, Asburto, or Ashbardou. In traditional medicine, <i>K. anteuphorbium</i> has been used to treat various ailments, including rheumatism, wound healing, injuries, acne, back pain, and lesions. This review provides a comprehensive and critical analysis of the current knowledge on <i>K. anteuphorbium</i>, including its ethnopharmacological uses, taxonomy, geographical distribution, secondary metabolite chemistry, and biological properties. A thorough literature search was conducted using scientific databases such as Scopus, SciFinder, Web of Science, Wiley Online Library, SpringerLink, PubMed, and Google Scholar to collect all available information on <i>K. anteuphorbium</i>. <i>K. anteuphorbium</i> is widely used in Moroccan folk medicine to treat several diseases, including rheumatism, wounds, injuries, and pain relief as a sedative. Phytochemical studies have identified secondary metabolites from <i>K. anteuphorbium</i>, mainly belonging to the sesquiterpene class. Moreover, in vitro pharmacological investigations have demonstrated various bioactivities of its extracts and compounds, including antioxidant, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory effects. These biological activities support the traditional use of <i>K. anteuphorbium</i> in medicine. However, further in-depth studies are required to validate its therapeutic efficacy and elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying its pharmacological effects. Additionally, toxicological assessments should be conducted to ensure its safety for medicinal use.</p>
