<p><i>Tremella</i> hydrocolloid has various pharmacological activities, but its mechanism of anti-aging is unclear. This article aims to explore the mechanism of <i>Tremella</i> hydrocolloid in mediating the extension of lifespan in <i>Caenorhabditis elegans</i>. The results showed that <i>Tremella</i> hydrocolloid significantly extended the lifespan of <i>C. elegans</i> by reducing the accumulation of reactive oxygen species. Through fluorescence quantitative PCR experiments, it was found that the addition of <i>Tremella</i> hydrocolloid up-regulated the expression level of <i>skn-1</i> in <i>C. elegans</i>, indicating that the anti-aging effect of <i>Tremella</i> hydrocolloid was regulated through the insulin/insulin-like growth factor signal (IIS) pathway. These results provide a theoretical basis for the application of <i>Tremella</i> hydrocolloids in anti-aging food, medicine and cosmetics.</p>

Tremella hydrocolloid has various pharmacological activities, but its mechanism of anti-aging is unclear. This article aims to explore the mechanism of Tremella hydrocolloid in mediating the extension of lifespan in Caenorhabditis elegans. The results showed that Tremella hydrocolloid significantly extended the lifespan of C. elegans by reducing the accumulation of reactive oxygen species.
