Flow Through Isotropic Granular Porous Media: Regularity and Time-Periodicity

In this paper we consider a generalization of the Navier-Stokes system, describing the dynamic of incompressible flows in a isotropic granular porous medium of spatially varying permeability. We prove the existence of global weak solutions with a reproductivity in time property, as well as, the existence of strong solutions under conditions on the size of data. By using the existence of strong reproductive solutions, we obtain the existence of regular time-periodic solutions.
