A brief review on myriad applications of triethylsilane and acid in organic synthesis
摘要
The total synthesis of complex molecules, natural products and drugs involves a series of chemical reactions starting from simpler materials using various reagents and catalysts. This mini-review systematically highlights several minor applications of the combination of triethylsilane with Brønsted/Lewis acids in organic transformations leading to useful molecules. Furthermore, it also discusses selectivity in various reactions, such as reductive cyclizations, ring openings, carbon–carbon bond formations, and more.
