A validated questionnaire with 27 items, administered in paper format at each block, rated the domains of clinical skills, knowledge, teamwork, communication, ethics, and mentorship with five points Likert scale. Descriptive and non-parametric analyses were conducted the significance was established as p < 0.05.

The majority of students indicated GPA 2.75–3.49 (53.1%) and 78 h per day in hospital (47.5%). The students in the Al-Noor rated the program as highly taught in clinical, teamwork, communication, and supervisory support compared to King Abdulaziz (p < 0.01). The differences in perceptions were not significantly different based on GPA or course grade (p > 0.05).
