An incidental autopsy finding of solitary necrotic nodule of the liver
摘要
Solitary Necrotic Nodule (SNN) of the liver is a rare but benign lesion characterized by a central necrotic core surrounded by a hyalinized fibrotic capsule containing elastic fibers with no evidence of malignancy. We report three cases of SNNs of the liver that were discovered incidentally during autopsy. This study adds valuable findings to the pool of knowledge regarding rare lesions in Pathology. Histopathological examination is essential for the accurate diagnosis of this lesion.
