<p>A 66-year-old male of African origin known with well-controlled epilepsy presented to our facility with a 3-month history of right hip pain. Rifampicin sensitive tuberculosis was confirmed histologically by aseptic joint aspiration. The patient was initiated on first-line treatment as per the latest South Africa TB guidelines with an appropriate follow-up plan. But then had developed multiple complications.</p>
