Background <p>Rhinolith is an instance condition that occurs due to the formation of a dense, calcified mass within the nasal cavity. This pathological condition develops over endogenous or exogenous nidus with gradual accumulation and coating of various calcium and magnesium salts.</p> Case presentation <p>A 34-year-old female patient visited our outpatient clinic with a three-month history of left-sided otalgia, ear fullness, long-standing left-sided nasal obstruction, headache, rhinorrhea, and intermittent epistaxis. The Endoscopic nasal examination and CT imaging were performed to confirm the diagnosis. The patient then underwent endoscopic removal of the rhinolith (nasal stone) and antrochoanal polyp under general anesthesia.</p> Conclusion <p>Rhinolithiasis, while uncommon, can pose a significant issue, especially in this age group. If left unaddressed, it can lead to complications such as sinusitis, pressure-related tissue damage causing septal perforation, or the development of a nasal-palatal fistula. In such cases, otolaryngologists should carefully evaluate the appropriate diagnostic and treatment strategies and consider Rhinolithiasis as a potential cause of unilateral nasal obstruction.</p>

Background
