摘要

Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a complex, polygenetic chronic disease that affects the skin, nails, and musculoskeletal system. Diagnosis is based on the patient’s personal and family history and clinical examination, which should be supplemented by imaging, including X-ray. Therapeutic approaches range from methotrexate to TNF inhibitors and interleukin inhibitors (IL-17, IL-23), and guidelines from the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic arthritis (GRAPPA) and European League against Rheumatism (EULAR) help direct treatment strategies. Precision medicine continues to gain importance in order to treat patients in a more targeted manner. Despite modern therapies, PsA remains a challenge as disease activity is not minimized in all patients. Early diagnosis and individualized treatment are crucial for the quality of life of those affected.
