<p>The present paper investigates the structural behaviour of skewed brick masonry arch bridges affected by different parameters. The parameters are the skew angle, the type of arch, and the type of loading. Four skew angles are considered. The arches selected are Persian ones including semi-circular, ordinary pointed and ordinary four-centred arches. The bridges are subjected to four cases of pier settlement, ten cases of pier rotation, four cases of temperature, and earthquakes. The dependence of the load-bearing capacity on different parameters has been determined for each case. Non-linear three-dimensional analysis has been performed by the finite element code ANSYS.</p>
