<p>October 7th marked a turning point in Levant region, given the subsequent developments that extended to both Lebanon and Syria. These events have raised several questions about the future of the “Belt and Road” Initiative in this region, particularly in the prevailing state of instability. Launched by Beijing in 2013, this initiative is regarded as a holistic vision aimed at fostering global development and strengthening interconnectedness between nations. Through it, China aims to enhance the spread of global infrastructure, fostering connectivity and communication, which would lead to geopolitical stability. However, amid the current changes, stability has become threatened, jeopardizing any investment project in the region. This paper examines the evaluation of the Belt and Road Initiative in Levant region, specifically following the events of October 7th. It will assess the initiative in light of recent changes, providing an analysis within the framework of the theory of interdependence. This theory has been used in the analysis due to its alignment with the theoretical framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. The findings of the research reveal significant challenges facing the initiative in this region.</p>
