<p>Primary care requires research that is both practically relevant and clearly communicated to meet clinical needs. Reporting standards play a&#xa0;crucial role in ensuring that research findings are presented clearly and systematically, thereby enhancing their quality, comparability, and applicability. However, existing standards like CONSORT (Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trails) and STROBE (Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology) often do not sufficiently reflect the unique challenges of primary care, thus limiting the relevance of study findings for everyday practice. The CRISP checklist (Consensus Reporting Items for Studies in Primary Care) was developed to bridge this gap. It provides researchers with practical guidelines to improve the planning, execution, and reporting of studies while accounting for the specific demands of primary care. This article introduces the German translation of the CRISP checklist and explores its significance for primary care research in German-speaking regions.</p>
