PMKVY training process effectiveness evaluation through Kirkpatrick model via moderation approach
摘要
Training is a structured process of sequential activities aimed at achieving specific learning outcomes. This study examines the moderating role of the training process on factors and levels influencing Training Effectiveness (TE), based the Kirkpatrick Model. The primary data were collected from 357 trainees under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) scheme in Sikkim. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) identified key dimensions under the levels of TE, and regression analysis assessed their predictive relationships. Moderation analysis was conducted to evaluate the influence of the training process level. The findings indicate that the training process significantly moderates the relationship between TE factors and TE, underscoring the importance of well-structured training processes in enhancing program effectiveness. The outcome assists training managers in planning and organizing courses while emphasizing the critical role of training process quality in enhancing TE.
