摘要

Job satisfaction among medical doctors is increasingly recognised for its impact on well-being, patient care quality, and healthcare system performance. However, there is no consensus on a standard method for measuring job satisfaction, as existing studies use varied scales. Objectives: To evaluate the psychometric properties of job satisfaction scales for medical doctors. Study design: Systematic review following PRISMA guidelines. Methods: Studies were sourced through the following databases: APA PsycINFO, APA PsycArticles, APA PsycTests, MEDLINE, and EMBASE up to March 2024. Results: Out of 1368 studies, 29 scales across 35 studies were included. Only 4 scales - Job Content Questionnaire, Job Satisfaction Scale, CARDIOSATIS-Equipe Scale, and the Physician Job Satisfaction Scale - demonstrate reliability and good validity for this population. Conclusions: This review identifies reliable and valid scales for assessing job satisfaction in medical doctors, with recommendations tailored to different settings. These findings can guide clinicians and researchers when selecting a job satisfaction scale to use, and highlight the need for further validation analysis.
