Interdisziplinäre multimodale Schmerztherapie in der ambulanten Versorgungsstufe 2
摘要
At the Chronic Pain Therapy Center (TCS), patients with advanced chronic pain can receive appropriate outpatient treatment using interdisciplinary multimodal pain therapy (IMPT) based on the biopsychosocial model. Two interesting recent case studies from the areas of headache and mixed pain with a nociplastic component illustrate the high value of IMPT in this article. The coordinated combination of optimizing medication, education, relaxation and movement exercises, dietary adjustments, and other therapeutic components was key to success in both cases. It would be desirable for IMPT to become the standard in the practical treatment of more chronic pain conditions in the future, implemented nationwide and with sufficient resources.
