<p>Chronic complaints of the cervical spine are a&#xa0;challenge for diagnosis and treatment. In this article, we would like to focus on the possibility of strain on the stabilising subsystems (ligaments) of the cervical spine and its consequences for the development of symptomatology. After a&#xa0;brief anatomical overview of the affected structures, we will review diagnostic manual therapy techniques and then present ‘prolotherapy’ (proliferation therapy) as a&#xa0;possible treatment option.</p>

摘要
