Pilotevaluation von psychoorthopädischen Rückenschmerzgruppen anhand von „real-world data“
摘要
Psychoorthopedic back school groups (RSG) are an innovative, interprofessional therapeutic approach for patients with chronic low back pain. This intervention was recently implemented in orthopedic rehabilitation at the rehabilitation center Bad Ischl of the Pensionsversicherung and evaluated using a propensity score matching procedure and routine („real-world“) data. Observed changes in pain intensity (VAS) and health-related quality of life (EQ-5D-5L) of RSG patients (n = 46) and propensity-matched controls (n = 36), suggest equivalent rehabilitation outcomes following inpatient rehabilitation. This pilot study demonstrates how real-world data can be used to evaluate innovations in clinical practice.
