Inflammation und Hämoglobin-Sauerstoffaffinität
摘要
In septic patients, oxygen delivery is often impaired, yet the specific impact of inflammation on erythrocyte oxygen transport characteristics remains largely unexplored. This study examined the direct effects of endotoxin-induced inflammation on the oxygen dissociation curve (ODC). Acute LPS-induced inflammation did not significantly alter hemoglobin-oxygen binding properties. Interestingly, dexamethasone induced a significant rightward shift of the ODC, potentially facilitating oxygen release to tissues with clinical implications for steroid therapy in septic patients.
