摘要

In the context of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) treatment, integrating advanced drug delivery systems with artificial intelligence (AI) offers promising opportunities for optimizing therapeutic efficacy and enhancing patient care. This review examines the potential of combining polymeric nanocarriers (NCs) with AI algorithms to improve HIV treatment strategies. Polymeric nanoparticles (NPs) address key challenges, including drug stability, bioavailability, and controlled release, offering tailored solutions to maximize therapeutic effects and reduce adverse outcomes. AI plays a critical role in predicting drug behavior, optimizing formulation parameters, and personalizing medication delivery based on patient-specific characteristics, contributing to improved treatment adherence and outcomes. Through AI-guided formulation design, researchers can enhance encapsulation efficiency and precisely control drug release kinetics by fine-tuning NC properties. Furthermore, AI-assisted drug delivery enables individualized treatment regimens aligned with specific patient needs. Future research may benefit from advancing the synergy between AI and polymeric NP systems to support personalized and precision medicine approaches in HIV therapeutics. This collaboration holds considerable potential to improve drug efficacy, reduce side effects, and foster better adherence, paving the way for innovative strategies in HIV treatment.
