<p>In this paper, we give refinements of the classical Pólya inequality for real numbers, finite-dimensional matrices, and <InlineEquation ID="IEq1"> <EquationSource Format="TEX">\(C^*\)</EquationSource> <EquationSource Format="MATHML"><math> <msup> <mi>C</mi> <mo>∗</mo> </msup> </math></EquationSource> </InlineEquation>-algebras. Moreover, we correct some previously obtained versions of refinements of the Heinz and Pólya inequality and generalize and improve them for <InlineEquation ID="IEq2"> <EquationSource Format="TEX">\(C^*\)</EquationSource> <EquationSource Format="MATHML"><math> <msup> <mi>C</mi> <mo>∗</mo> </msup> </math></EquationSource> </InlineEquation>-algebras.</p>

摘要

In this paper, we give refinements of the classical Pólya inequality for real numbers, finite-dimensional matrices, and \(C^*\) C -algebras. Moreover, we correct some previously obtained versions of refinements of the Heinz and Pólya inequality and generalize and improve them for \(C^*\) C -algebras.
