E-learning has transformed education by providing accessibility and flexibility, allowing students to navigate time and location barriers. However, serious worries exist about how this shift from conventional classrooms to online learning environments may affect student pleasure, participation, and morale. The lack of in-person interactions, frequent technical problems, and a rise in digital distractions frequently cause students to become less motivated and dissatisfied. Addressing these issues is crucial to achieving successful learning results. This paper examines these problems and the possibility of secure IoT applications to build safe and interesting digital ecosystems that improve online learning opportunities were data collected from 931 respondents across Karnataka, analyzed through statistical tools, and analysed variables by SEM analysis. The findings imply that integrating secure IoT applications into these systems may help alleviate some issues by enhancing engagement, facilitating communication, and providing real-time assistance. By offering individualized instruction, these technologies can significantly increase student satisfaction and bridge the gap between teachers and students. Also, the results were despite its advantages, e-learning’s limitations often hinder student engagement and morale. IoT-enabled solutions, such as personalized learning environments, real-time feedback systems, and secure platforms, can help overcome these challenges by fostering interactivity, improving engagement, and providing tailored educational experiences allowing for dynamic and adaptive learning systems that respond to individual needs while ensuring a secure and inclusive environment. By utilizing secure IoT applications, educators can foster supportive, motivating, and effective digital learning environments that encourage active participation, improve satisfaction and the key takeaway is securing IoT applications significantly enhances student engagement and morale, though further research is needed to optimize their effectiveness will overcome the shortcomings of traditional e-learning methods.
