Ethical challenges in generative AI: a survey of current issues, frameworks, and future directions
摘要
Recently, progress in one form of machine learning—known as Generative Artificial Intelligence—has enabled systems to produce written material, visuals, sound, or programming scripts without direct human input. Despite promising applications across sectors, concerns about consequences have grown alongside its capabilities. This review offers a structured look at moral questions tied to such technology through careful analysis of studies drawn from multiple academic areas. These scholarly works are grouped into four main themes for clarity and depth. Among key concerns sit bias alongside fairness, followed by issues tied to false information paired with synthetic media. Privacy questions emerge together with risks of misuse under another heading altogether. Responsibility links closely with oversight structures within yet another grouping entirely. A consolidated look at current countermeasures appears next throughout the report pages. What stands out most lies in how widely the analysis spans across moral dimensions linked to Generative AI systems. Gaps already noticed receive attention just as much as established insights do here. Insights gathered may later inform ways to shape technology behavior more carefully over time ahead.
