摘要

This research investigates the relationship between organizational capital (OC) and process green innovation (PGI) while analyzing how CEO power affects this relationship using panel data from U.S. information technology (IT) firms listed on the stock exchange from 2011 to 2023 through ordinary least squares (OLS) and generalized method of moments (GMM) estimations. The research shows that organizational capital has a positive and significant relationship with Process green innovation. The study shows that CEO power enhances this relationship especially when the CEO is also the founder or holds dual roles. The study contributes to the literature by showing how internal OC and CEO power interact to influence PGI in IT firms. The study provides practical implications for executives and policymakers who want to align corporate strategy with environmental objectives in the digital era. The research further supports sustainable development through its demonstration of how organizational capital and executive leadership create eco-efficient innovation which promotes sustainable industrialization and climate action goals.
