摘要

This study examines the determinants, and forms of stakeholder collaboration in Gondar’s cultural heritage tourism, a key historical destination in Ethiopia. It examines how shared vision, mutual trust, role clarity, resource allocation, and open communication influence collaborative mechanisms and stakeholder engagement. Using a cross-sectional quantitative design, data were collected from 523 respondents representing government offices, local communities, tour guides, operators, hospitality associations, and tourist food cooks through multistage sampling. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) revealed that governance- and norm-based collaboration are dominant, while mutuality-based collaboration plays a supportive role. Shared vision, role clarity, mutual trust, and resource allocation significantly influence governance-oriented collaboration, whereas open communication showed limited impact. The findings underscore the importance of structured, norm-aligned, and resource-supported mechanisms to strengthen stakeholder collaboration and promote sustainable cultural heritage tourism in Gondar.
