摘要

This research examines the linkage between government support for green innovation (GSP) and green innovation (GIN) within G20 economies, focusing on the period from 2002 to 2021. Employing advanced econometric techniques, specifically the panel fully modified least squares (FMOLS) method, the study uncovers a robust positive correlation between GSP and GIN. This relationship elucidates how comprehensive government initiatives are instrumental in catalyzing higher levels of green innovation by alleviating uncertainty and furnishing critical resources to firms. The findings highlight the practical importance of targeted government interventions in advancing sustainable technological development, contributing to both economic growth and environmental sustainability. Additionally, this study provides a fresh perspective by emphasizing the critical connections between government policy and green innovation within a comprehensive framework, laying the groundwork for future research and the development of informed policies that support sustainable practices.
