Exploring the spatial-temporal differences and relational characteristics between LSE and subsystems efficiency in Chinese cities
摘要
Effective land space utilization is crucial for the sustainable transformation of cities, and the role of land space subsystems in land space utilization is fundamental. In this paper, we selected 26 indicators to measure land space efficiency and three subsystem efficiencies of urban space, agricultural space and ecological space in 366 city units from 2000 to 2020 through the Slacks-Based Measure (SBM) model. This paper analyzes the impact of subsystems efficiency on LSE from both the basic relationship and the subsystems comprehensive effect perspective, and the threshold between subsystems efficiency and LSE and the interaction between subsystems efficiency were explored through the random forest model and the Geodetector. The results show that LSE only noticeably improves when the efficiency of each subsystem exerted a pushing effect. The relationship between subsystems efficiency and LSE is a nonlinear positive correlation, with different threshold values for LSE enhancement in each subsystem. The thresholds for urban space efficiency, agricultural space efficiency and ecological space efficiency to enhance LSE are 0.32, 0.40 and 0.42, respectively. The interaction between urban space efficiency and ecological space efficiency is the most dominant among the subsystems comprehensive effect. This research explains the key mechanisms underlying the impact of subsystems efficiency on LSE, providing guidance for optimizing land space utilization in different cities based on subsystems efficiency.
