摘要

This study aims to map the development, intellectual structure, and research direction of the Theory of Planned Behaviour in Islamic Finance through bibliometric analysis. This study employed a bibliometric approach utilising VOSviewer and Biblioshiny to analyse co-authorship, keyword co-occurrence, and publication trends. Data obtained from indexed databases were then cleaned and analysed descriptively using Microsoft Excel to validate document distribution, citations, and keyword occurrence intensity. Cluster analysis was conducted to identify key themes and dominant research streams. The results indicate the formation of three main clusters: determinants of behavioural intentions in Islamic finance; dynamics of Islamic banking development and adoption across socio-religious and regional contexts; and analysis of Islamic insurance purchase intentions. The Theory of Planned Behaviour is the dominant theoretical basis for explaining the relationships among attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioural control in predicting adoption intentions. The variables of religiosity, Islamic financial literacy, and trust enrich the behavioural model in the context of Islamic finance. This research contributes by integrating bibliometric analysis and conceptual discussion to present a comprehensive map of the development of behavioural research in Islamic finance. This study also proposes a more contextual, longitudinal, and cross-national future research agenda to strengthen the development of theory and practice in the Islamic finance industry.
