<p>This pioneering study delves into the complex and nuanced relationships between energy dynamics, green and blue economy factors, and sustainable economic growth in Nigeria, utilizing monthly data from January 1970 to December 2022. The analysis employs the Multiple Threshold Nonlinear Autoregressive Distributed Lag (MT-NARDL) model, which allows for the exploration of both short-run and long-run asymmetries in the economic dynamics. Key variables include total fisheries production, agriculture, forestry and fishing value added, aquaculture output, trade openness, innovation, energy intensity, total energy use, and renewable energy consumption. The results indicate significant asymmetric effects, with varying impacts on sustainable economic growth across different quantile regimes. Specifically, bidirectional causal relationships are identified between sustainable economic growth and agriculture, forestry, fishing value added, trade openness, innovation, and energy intensity. These findings underscore the importance of incorporating nonlinearities and asymmetries when assessing the drivers of sustainable growth. By offering a nuanced analysis of the interconnections between energy, green economy, and blue economy factors, this study provides valuable insights for policymakers, contributing to more informed decision-making and resource allocation strategies aimed at fostering sustainable economic development in Nigeria.</p>
