摘要

This study presents a systematic literature review combined with a bibliometric analysis to examine global scholarly developments at the intersection of diplomacy and peace over the last decade (2014–2024). Using the Scopus database as the primary source, the study identifies publication trends, influential authors, leading countries and institutions, and the conceptual structure of diplomacy–peace research. A total of 114 articles were analyzed using VOSviewer to map co-authorship networks, keyword co-occurrence, and institutional collaboration patterns. The findings reveal that research on diplomacy and peace has expanded beyond traditional, state-centric frameworks to include emerging themes such as soft diplomacy, digital diplomacy, humanitarian diplomacy, and resilience-based peacebuilding. The analysis of the most cited articles demonstrates diverse approaches to understanding how diplomatic strategies contribute to conflict prevention, reconciliation, and sustainable peace. Despite the growth of the field, gaps remain in cross-regional comparative studies, longitudinal analyses, and integrative frameworks connecting diplomacy with contemporary global challenges. This study provides a comprehensive roadmap for future research and contributes to improving the theoretical and methodological clarity of diplomacy–peace scholarship.
