<p>This paper analyzes the influence of education on the relationship between Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and corruption control in the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU), based on data covering the period from 1996 to 2022. The two-stage least squares with instrumental variables (2SLS-IV) method was employed to estimate the model. The results indicate that without the interaction of the ICT and education variables, ICT has a negative influence on corruption control. However, with the interaction of the ICT and education variables, ICT positively influences corruption control in the WAEMU. Furthermore, the analysis of the ICT and education interaction variable revealed a positive and significant effect on corruption control. These results suggest that improving corruption control depends on education that familiarizes individuals with the use of ICT.</p>
