Fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control of position sensors for switched reluctance motors
摘要
Failure of the position sensor of a switched reluctance motor can lead to problems such as reduced motor output torque and abnormal motor operation. By analyzing the binary combination number of the position sensor output signal, a diagnostic method based on a specific fault state sequence is proposed. The proposed method compares three consecutive adjacent binary combination numbers of the position sensor output with a specific fault state sequence to realize fault diagnosis. Meanwhile, the rotor position angle relationship among the three-phase position signals, along with the calculation formula for updating the rotor position angle in real time based on the fault diagnosis results, is used to implement fault-tolerant control after the fault occurs. The proposed fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant method can accurately locate faulty position sensors and realize fault-tolerant control after a fault occurs. This ensures that the switched reluctance motor can still operate stably under faulty position sensor conditions. Experimental results verify the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed method.
