摘要

This article proposes an improved high-gain zero-voltage switching (ZVS) boost converter. The proposed converter achieves ZVS for the main switch during turn-on and near-ZVS during turn-off. Meanwhile, the auxiliary switch operates with near zero-current switching (ZCS) during turn-on and ZVS during turn-off. Additionally, all of the diodes turn off with ZCS, which effectively minimizes the reverse-recovery losses. When compared to traditional ZVS converters, the voltage ratings of the switching components are significantly reduced due to lower voltage stress values. The voltage gain is doubled in comparison to the traditional boost converter. These factors collectively enhance the overall efficiency. Furthermore, a comparative analysis is provided to highlight the advantages and superior performance of the proposed converter. Finally, a 400 W laboratory prototype with a 50 V input voltage and a 400 V output voltage is used to validate the theoretical analysis.
