摘要

The rapid growth of population and urbanization has significantly intensified the challenges associated with municipal solid waste management (MSWM). This growing quantity and diversity of waste are burdening the existing MSWM infrastructure and giving rise to the complex decision problem of selecting a sustainable waste management strategy which requires a balance among multiple conflicting criteria. Therefore, this paper aims to construct the Bonferroni mean (BM) and weighted BM operators based on the Archimedean copula and co-copula functions for intuitionistic fuzzy values. Further, based on the developed intuitionistic fuzzy Archimedean copula weighted Bonferroni mean (IFACWBM) operator, a multi-criteria group decision-making (MCGDM) technique is suggested, in which two different types of weights are evaluated, experts’ assessment significance and criteria importance. The projection method is used to assign a significance degree to each expert’s decision value for the developed IFACWBM operator, which gives collective decision values. Whereas the modified maximizing deviation method (MMDM) is used to find the criteria weights, they are further utilized in the weighted aggregated sum product assessment (WASPAS) method for the final ranking of alternatives. Moreover, the applicability and effectiveness of the introduced methodology are demonstrated through a case study on MSWM scenario selection. The results reveal that anaerobic digestion emerges as the most suitable MSWM scenario, while the comprehensive economic performance is identified as the most influential criterion. Sensitivity and comparative analysis further confirm the consistency, stability, and practical relevance of the proposed approach.
