<p>In order to improve the pavement performance of emulsified asphalt, styrene-butadiene block copolymer (SBS) and carbon nine petroleum resin (C9) were used to modify the emulsified asphalt. The emulsification method is to modify the base asphalt first, and then emulsify the modified asphalt. The optimum content of SBS and C9 was determined by the test of storage stability of emulsified asphalt and the test of penetration, softening point, ductility and viscosity of evaporated residue. Finally, the rheological and adhesion tests of SBS-C9 modified emulsified asphalt were carried out, and the test results were compared with SBS emulsified asphalt and ordinary emulsified asphalt. The results show that the emulsified asphalt prepared by 4%SBS + 4%C9 composite has the best performance, and the viscosity of the modified emulsified asphalt has been greatly improved. Compared with ordinary emulsified asphalt and SBS modified emulsified asphalt, the shear complex modulus, rutting factor, fatigue factor and adhesion strength of SBS-C9 composite modified emulsified asphalt are the largest, which indicates that it has a good resistance to high temperature deformation and water damage. The results have a good effect on promoting the application of emulsified asphalt.</p>

Rheological Properties of Evaporative Residue of SBS-C9 Compound Modified Emulsified Asphalt
