Improved Modulated Model Predictive Control for Grid-Connected Inverter Based on Fixed-Time Observer

This study introduces an improved modulated model predictive control (IM2PC) method for grid-connected inverters. By utilizing a fixed-time observer (FTO), the proposed approach addresses parameter sensitivity issues and improves system robustness. The method directly determines the effective current vector and calculates the optimal duty cycle, reducing computational complexity. The effectiveness of the improved modulated model predictive control (FTO-IM2PC) based on the fixed time observer (FTO-IM2PC) is validated through simulations and experiments, showing superior performance over the traditional modulated model predictive control (M2PC) method.
