Streptomyces aheensis sp. nov. and Streptomyces ruilongensis sp. nov. isolated from desert soil in Xinjiang
摘要
Two novel actinobacteria, TRM 75,563T and TRM 75,561T, were isolated from desert soil adjacent to the roadside in the arid region of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Northwest China. The strains TRM 75,563T and TRM 75,561T were identified by a polyphasic taxonomic method. The genomic DNA G + C contents were 72.4% and 72.0%, respectively. The 16 S rRNA sequence analysis indicated that both TRM 75,563T and TRM 75,561T were most closely related to Streptomyces griseoviridis NBRC 12,874T (98.9% sequence similarity), with ANI values of 78.3% and 81.9%, and dDDH values of 15.8% and 12.5%, respectively. Additionally, the ANI and dDDh values between TRM 75,563T and TRM 75,561T were 78.5% and 21.2%, respectively. Both TRM 75,561T and TRM 75,563T grew at 10–45 °C (optimally at 30 °C), pH 4–11 (optimally at pH 8), and in the presence of 0–25% NaCl (optimally in 5%). The cell walls of both strains contained LL-diaminopimelic acid as the diagnostic diamino acid. The predominant menaquinones of both TRM 75,563T and TRM 75,561T were MK-10 and MK-8(H6). The major cellular fatty acid of both strains was iso-C16:0. Both TRM 75,563T (= LMG 32310T=CCTCC AA 2021003T) and TRM 75,561T (= JCM 35794T=CCTCC AA 2021014T) strains represent novel Streptomyces species in which the names Streptomyces aheensis sp. nov. and Streptomyces ruilongensis sp. nov.
