<p>Nebrioporus <i>crotchi (Coleoptera</i>: Dytiscidae) samples were collected from AlUla, northwest of Saudi Arabia. The molecular barcoding was done based on COI primer and clarified the phylogenetic tree and genetic distance of <i>N. crotchi</i> with other <i>Nebrioporus</i> species. Adults (male and female) and larval stage of <i>N. crotchi</i> are described and illustrated in details by light and scanning electron microscopies. This study, for the first time, provides more details on molecular barcoding and scanning electron microscopy of <i>N. crotchi</i> larval and adult stages in the aquatic environment of Saudi Arabia. The measurements of the larval stages were 5.359&#xa0;mm long and 1.532&#xa0;mm wide, head length was 0.969&#xa0;mm and width 0.889&#xa0;mm, the abdomen was shaped like a tube and had eight visible segments with a pair of jointed urogomphi and siphon. The measurements of male were 5.246&#xa0;mm long and 2.497&#xa0;mm wide. The female length was 6.081&#xa0;mm and width was 2.978&#xa0;mm.</p>
