摘要
Two new species of non-luminous firefly, Lamellipalpodes debprasuma Chakrovorty, Moinudheen & Bhattacharjee sp. nov. and Lamellipalpodes kurumba Chakrovorty, Moinudheen & Bhattacharjee sp. nov., of the Orientally endemic genus Lamellipalpodes Maulik, 1921 (Ototretinae, Lampyridae, Elateroidea) have been described from the Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, India. Similar to Gorhamia Pic, 1911, both species have heavily serrated antennae, which are not found in other Lamellipalpodes species. Male genitalia, pronotal architecture, wing venation, and abdominal sclerite structure are among the morphological features that have been described with relevant pictures and morphometry data. These characteristics are thought to be crucial diagnostic features for species discrimination. The wing venation of both the newly described species has been compared with L. asmita Chakrovorty & Bhattacharjee,
