<p>Snow Mountain Garlic (SMG) is a mountainous wild species of <i>Allium</i>, popular for its medicinal merits and phytoactive components in the Himalayan and <i>Amchi</i> herbal remedy system. The present study aimed to study the phytochemistry of its extract(s) and compare their in-vitro antifungal and antioxidant efficacies in comparison to normal garlic (NG). In this study, <i>via</i> various standard analytical techniques, i.e., HP-TLC, GC-MS/MS; nutritional and secondary metabolite profiles were established. Additionally, in-vitro antioxidant and agar well diffusion susceptibility assays were conducted to investigate the bioactivity. The enrichment of glycosides, saponins, carbohydrates, folic acid, and selenium was observed in SMG compared to NG. Further, fractions of both the garlic showed a significant distinction in their phytochemical composition. Against NG, SMG showed a significantly high amount of fatty aldehyde, fatty acids, and fatty acid methyl ester, along with a higher flavonoid content in the aqueous extract and ethyl acetate fraction (43.64 ± 1.42 and 195.55 ± 4.56&#xa0;mg RTHE/100&#xa0;mg of dry extract respectively). The ethyl acetate fraction of SMG showed the largest zone of inhibition, i.e., 24 ± 1, 26 ± 0, and 20.33 ± 0.58&#xa0;mm against clinical isolates of <i>Candida</i> species <i>viz. C. albicans</i>, <i>C. glabrata</i>, and <i>C. tropicalis</i>, respectively, and was remarkably better than that of extract(s)/fraction(s) of NG. With this report, our group provides an in-vitro validation of the anti-infective and antioxidant merits of SMG along with its nutritional and phytochemical fingerprinting in comparison with NG to endorse its pharmacological utility as a high mountain folk medicine.</p>
