<p>Mixture experiments are very popular in chemical engineering, food processing, and material sciences, where the formulation directly impacts the quality of the product. Uniform mixture design aims to generate the uniformly scattered design points lying inside the experimental region which helps in producing the mixture combinations in a true non-trivial sense. In this article, a method is proposed for generating the uniform mixture design on spherical region for s-component mixtures under single component constraints by using the NT-net design in (s-1)-dimensional unit hypercube. The method is illustrated for 3, 4, and 5 component mixtures. Distance-based criteria are used for measuring the uniformity of the design.</p>
