<p>This study aims to identify and evaluate sustainable suppliers through a rigorous framework integrating literature review and expert insights. The derived criteria form the basis for a robust assessment mechanism using Z-DEA (Z-number Data Envelopment Analysis). Six potential suppliers are evaluated based on three input and six output criteria, encompassing economic, environmental, and social dimensions of sustainability. The Z-DEA method is chosen for its capability to handle multiple variables and integrate uncertainty through Z-numbers, which enhance the precision of linguistic assessments. Results reveal notable variations in supplier performance, with Supplier A demonstrating outstanding efficiency in environmental practices, while Supplier C exhibits strengths in social responsibility. Triangular fuzzy numbers effectively capture subjective expert judgments, ensuring reliability in ranking supplier performance. Efficiency scores calculated via GAMS software under varying scenarios provide nuanced insights, emphasizing the adaptability of the framework in dynamic decision-making contexts. Sensitivity analysis identifies environmental compliance and cost efficiency as pivotal criteria, offering actionable recommendations for optimizing supplier selection strategies. This study distinguishes itself by demonstrating the practical application of Z-DEA in sustainable supply chain management, bridging theoretical methodologies with real-world applicability and delivering a decision-making tool adaptable to diverse industrial settings.</p>
