<p>Sheehan's syndrome otherwise known as postpartum necrosis of the pituitary is described as necrosis of the adenohypophysis cells following severe postpartum haemorrhage. This condition is quite uncommon in developed regions like Spain. We describe a 46-year-old woman diagnosed with SS about 10&#xa0;years following delivery complicated by peripartum haemorrhage. Clinical and laboratory assessment revealed agalactia, amenorrhea, complete hypopituitarism and an empty sella turcica. It is important to emphasize the importance of this syndrome and to be aware of its early diagnosis to avoid the serious complications it causes in untreated pregnant women.</p>
