Akupressur in der Pflege: Brückenschlag zwischen Tradition und Evidenz
摘要
Acupressure is gaining increasing importance as a non-invasive, holistic method in nursing care. This paper highlights its current status in Germany in light of recent legal developments, such as the Nursing Competence Act, which strengthens the independent competence of nursing professionals and creates space for innovative approaches. Intercultural collaborations between Germany and China further highlight the potential of acupressure for modern nursing practice.
ObjectivesWhat role does acupressure play in nursing care, and how can it be integrated into the context of current legal and interdisciplinary developments?
MethodsNarrative review.
ResultsStudies indicate that acupressure is effective as a nursing intervention in alleviating pain, nausea, and stress-related symptoms. Regulatory challenges, such as distinguishing it from medical practice, require clear integration into evidence-based nursing diagnoses. Through structured training and interprofessional collaboration, acupressure can serve not only as a complementary intervention for symptom reduction but also strengthen the professional autonomy of nurses and deepen the nurse–patient relationship.
In conclusion, the paper calls for increased interdisciplinary research and political support to sustainably establish acupressure as a valuable holistic method in nursing and thereby improve the quality of care in the long term.
