<p>Pelvic lipomatosis is a rare benign disease characterized by excessive deposition of adipose tissue in the pelvis. The pelvic organs are compressed by excessive adipose tissue, causing a variety of nonspecific symptoms. Therefore, the diagnosis of this disease mainly depends on imaging examinations. This review summarizes the imaging characteristics of the disease and recent research advances, aiming to support more accurate diagnosis and reduce misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis in clinical practice.</p>
