<p>Advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) have led to its widespread integration into various aspects of human life, highlighting the need for AI literacy, especially among non-technical adults. This research aims to define AI literacy for adult learners without technical backgrounds and provide a practical guide for developing AI competencies. Unlike existing frameworks, the guide called ai4Ev (AI for Everyone), emphasizes foundational knowledge, critical thinking, and ethical awareness, focusing on practical application rather than technical depth. The guide is modular, composed of 6 dimensions, 12 steps, and sub-steps for those learners who prefer to go deeper in the technical perspective. Allows for flexible delivery across diverse contexts, from education to workplace settings. This work addresses existing gaps in AI literacy research and offers a structured approach for non-technical learners to interact responsibly with AI tools, making informed decisions aligned with their personal and professional lives.</p>
